J'espère que votre livre touchera et parlera intimement au coeur de tous ses lecteurs. Je loue l'audace et la justesse de votre travail et de votre sensibilité. Car pour moi, par ce livre, ce n'est plus Evelyn qui s'intéresse et étudie les NDE, c'est Evelyn qui a intégré l'essence de cette expérience. Vous n'êtes plus à l'extérieur du phénomène mais en son coeur. Le fruit bien mérité de votre investissement pour nous. Par ailleurs, votre connaissance du milieu hospitalier et de cette maladie chez les enfants est si remarquable que nous plongeons instantanément dans la réalité. Il n'y a pas de faux pas possible. Lecteur, nous ne pouvons quitter le rail, il nous faudra aller jusqu'au bout et en payer le prix.

Un petit mot pour vous remercier d'avoir écrit ce livre. C'est un cadeau bénit que vous faites au lecteur. J'ai beaucoup de mal à m'en détacher (j'en ai d'ailleurs 6 en ma possession...)
Un cadeau que je vais pouvoir partarger prochainement avec ma soeur, maman de la petite Victoria.
Victoria ressemble à la petite fille de votre histoire.
Mercredi matin, elle doit subir une biopsy sur le 2 ème poumon et elle va commencer la radiothérapie en plus de la chimio.
J'admire son courage, sa volonté et sa générosité.
Elle grandit et nous fait changer.

Comme vous le dîtes si bien dans votre livre, les épreuves nous font grandir et nous amènent vers l'essentiel.

J'ai lu avec beaucoup d'intérêt votre livre "Talking with Angel";. C'est à la fois un très beau roman et un document passionnant. Je ne doute pas qu'il ait déjà rencontré ou qu'il rencontrera bientôt le succès qu'il mérite. Il va de soi que la description que vous faites de la maladie de cette petite fille est extrêmement émouvante mais il est évident que le coeur, le noyau du livre, c'est ce témoignage de son ami James après sa N.D.E. J'ai trouvé dans ce livre quelques passages inspirés de Assaglioli, mais surtout je me suis demandé quels mystérieux événements dans votre histoire personnelle sont à l'origine de cet intérêtt très marqué que vous avez pour les N.D.E. Le fait est que vous avez accompli un travail remarquable en écrivant ce livre. J'ai maintenant très envie de lire l'un de vos deux autres ouvrages.

I cried and rejoiced and reading the pages brought me back to my own countless times in hospital and on deathbeds. It also brought me back to my NDEs and what was so profound is that we use so many of the same words to describe these things! J'ai eu énormément de plaisir à lire ton livre qui, effectivement, s'adresse aussi bien aux adultes qu'aux jeunes. La base est inébranlablement harmonieuse et solide grâce au vécu heureux de la jeune fille et au soutien de ses parents, malgré les déchirements et les moments de révolte. Que tous les enfants malades aient la même chance! Tu as vraiment réussi à montrer le chemin qui mène au spirituel à travers le réel, un équilibre pas toujours évident. While reading your book I was wondering if your book was meant for adults, or also for children? The language Angel uses in communication seems for me more for adults than for children. Ma réflexion était: ou bien vous avez vécu une NDE ou bien tous les récits que vous avez entendus et étudiés vous ont ainsi marquée comme si vous y étiez! On ne peut pas écrire ainsi sans avoir un vécu semblable. Il n'y a absolument rien à rajouter. L'essentiel est dit avec si peu de mots et dans un langage humain, chaleureux et compréhensible pour tous.

"Talking With Angel" is a powerful story of a young girl who becomes a woman during her intense struggle with a life-
threatening illness. I recommend this book highly to everyone who values personal growth and spiritual transformation.

[...] "Angel" is her talking doll, and at first that's a difficult concept to accept. Yet it doesn't take long to adjust not only to British mannerisms sprinkled throughout the book, but to embrace as real and wonderful the special doll made for her by her now-deceased grandmother - a doll of infinite wisdom and knowledge. When her illness worsens, a fellow patient dies, only to revive after having had a near-death experience. The description of that episode, how it affected the boy who had it, and ultimately how it transformed the young girl, is among the most riveting accounts I have yet read about the phenomenon and its aftereffects. The book is simply incredible!
Highly recommended for older children, parents, and anyone coming to grips with life and death issues - regardless of age.
